The CD-Rom contains:
  • A given database of 53,991 individuals recorded on the census of 1836 of the three Cantons of Brumath, Truchtersheim and Schiltigheim.
  • A consulting program, completely in english, which includes an easy fonctionnal search system, that enables the user to find a person by name, village or both. Also a more elaborate search enabling to locate a person, by their first names, profession, religion, age or civil status.

    For all the people, gathered by families, information available is: name, first names, age, profession, marital status, address and possible observations noted in the register.
